Are you caring, energetic, motivated and passionate about supporting people to live independently and enjoy fulfilling lives within their own communities?

ProCare Wales is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Behavioural Support Workers to join our Community Services team. We support adults with complex support needs, including learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that may challenge.

This is an exciting opportunity to support people in their own homes and out in the community, helping them develop their independence, build meaningful relationships, access activities and enjoy new experiences.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. You must be confident driving as part of your role and supporting individuals to access community activities and appointments.

No previous experience is essential! We are looking for people with the right attitude, strong values and a genuine desire to make a positive difference. If you are patient, compassionate and willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

We would love to hear from people who can demonstrate:

  • A positive, caring and person-centred approach.
  • A full UK driving licence and the confidence to drive as part of the role.

  • Patience, resilience and a calm approach when supporting people with complex needs.
  • Strong self-awareness and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • A flexible and positive attitude towards supporting people with their individual routines, interests and goals.
  • A belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful and fulfilling life within their community.

Most importantly, we want people who share our commitment to treating everyone with dignity, respect and compassion.

What Does the Role Involve?

As a Community Behavioural Support Worker, you will help individuals live life to the fullest by providing tailored, person-centred support. This may include:

  • Supporting individuals to access community activities, social events and leisure opportunities.
  • Promoting independence and helping people develop everyday life skills.
  • Supporting individuals with their personal goals, interests and aspirations.
  • Providing support with daily living, following individual support plans.
  • Supporting people with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge in a calm, consistent and positive way.
  • Encouraging friendships, relationships and meaningful connections within the community.
  • Working closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure high-quality, consistent support.

Every day is an opportunity to make a difference, build trust and help someone achieve something meaningful.
